John J. Reenan
John Reenan has more than 30 years of trial and appellate experience representing clients in different industries with a wide range of civil litigation issues. His major tort litigation experience includes hundreds of aviation and trucking accidents, wrongful death, injuries to minors, maritime, railroad, medical malpractice and premises liability cases. His experience also ranges into issues dealing with fraud, contract disputes, construction, real property disputes, business and insurance disputes,
and probate.
He also is able to advise companies on aircraft transactions, property and sales tax, corporate structure, and operations. His wide range of experience also includes international contract negotiation and litigation, with experience in Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Italy, Turkmenistan, and the United Kingdom.
John is a member of the Dallas, Tarrant County, and Federal Bar Associations. He has taught Aviation Law and Insurance and Economics at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and is a mediator trained by the American Arbitration Association.
Before he became an attorney, John was a licensed securities broker, holding Series 6, 63, 7, 24, and Group I and II licenses.
John and his wife Lara have 6 children and are members of University Park United Methodist Church.
